"You were recommended by Bethany Christian Services. Bethany said that you are accurate and quick! I look forward to hearing from you." -Anonymous

"To Whom It May Concern: We used Ellie Maeder to translate for our Haitian adoption, back in 2003. In fact, we were one of her first customers! I found her to be professional and compassionate, willing to “flex” to meet our rather convoluted requirements for state certification deadlines. The French work was done in a timely, accurate fashion. I traveled to her home to pick up my translations, as we were in a bind and she lived 1.5 hours away. I found her to be an absolute delight! ? (The “bind” was our fault, NOT hers!) ? We’ve had need of her services a few more times over the years since the initial dossier was translated (including a translation back to English of some of our Haitian documents, in order to secure our son’s American passport). Ellie was again there for us, and I believe that on that occasion, we did the entire transaction via faxing and e-mail. Our transaction was again, prompt and professional! Please let me whole-heartedly recommend Ellie to do your translation work for YOUR adoption. You will not regret it! Ellie still has my contact information, so if you want a personal reference, please contact her for my information. Sincerely, Lori Uhl, Hanover, PA"

“Our family has worked with Ellie in the process 2 different adoptions for Haiti, one in 2003 and one in 2007. Both were done in a very efficient manner and with great attention to accuracy. We did not have any problems with our translations. Ellie worked with us via e-mail, fax, mail and phone. It was a pleasure in our process to have met her and we highly recommend her.” -The Baker family, Washington State

"We used Ellie's translation services in Feb 2006 for the adoption of our 2 children in Haiti. Since both of our children had significant medical issues we were very interested in finishing our dossier ASAP. We were so happy with the speed of Ellie's translation and had no problems with any of the translations in our dossier. We added our second child onto our first child's dossier which required last minute updates and Ellie was so great in returning our updates to us in a very short time! We would definitely use her again if we ever needed documents translated into French! We highly recommend her for your adoption needs!" -The Maeding Family

"THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! Not only for the work on our translations, but for your very encouraging words. Everything came through great! God Bless You as you have us!!!!" -Anonymous

"We adopted 2 children from Haiti. We brought our children home on January 31, 2006. We were wonderfully pleased and satisfied with the French translations that you did for us! You supplied us promptly with the translations that we needed. And, you willingly did the occasional follow-up translation work that we needed. Our Dossier and The documents that you did for us were very tidy and official looking! I have and would continue to recommend you and your work to anyone needing French translations. Thank You again!" -Anonymous

"My wife and I are from Tennessee and have adopted two children from Haiti. The adoption process can be an overwhelming at times. There are feelings of great excitement and anticipation. And in some situations, such as ours, there can also be a sense of loss and grief after years of infertility. When we began our independent, international adoption in October 2007, we were not prepared for the intenseness of the paperwork required by the US and Haiti.

Once our dossier was completed it had to be translated into French per the Haitian government’s requirements. Not being fluent ourselves, we began researching to find a competent translator in which we felt comfortable sharing such personal information. We were referred by two different couples in two different parts of the US to contact Ellie Maeder.

The service Mrs. Maeder provided was superb. Not only was she thorough in her translations, she was extremely timely. She also actually invested emotion in our process and was very supportive. Most importantly, none of our translated paperwork was ever questioned or returned by the notoriously thorough Haitian government.

My wife and I will always be grateful for Mrs. Maeder’s part in bringing our children home.

Sincerely,
Scott and Amy Marchand"
